Daniel Zvereff, a first-generation American, traces his roots to a family that fled Russia, passing through Siberia and Mongolia before finding refuge in the USA after a generation of stateless exile in China. Based in Brooklyn, NY, as an animation director, he is interested in exploring the human experience, quantum physics, and the lasting impact of intergenerational displacement. His films have played on screens at festivals worldwide, including SXSW, San Francisco Film Festival, Rooftop Films, and Palm Springs. His illustrations have seen in the New York Times Magazine and his photographs have been published in many print and online publications including Nat Geo.
